As an Engineer R&D, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing new products and technologies. You will independently execute R&D tasks, contribute technical insights, and support innovation within the Corporate R&D department. A major focus of this role is establishing the Surface Acoustic Microscope (SAM) as a new analytical tool by defining its technical limits, integrating it into development workflows, and generating high‐quality data to support material and failure analysis.Independently execute experiments, analyze results, and recommend improvements to support product development.Design and develop new technologies that meet defined technical and performance requirements.Characterize, validate, and define the technical capabilities and application limits of the SAM system through structured experiments.Use SAM to identify defects in prototype and R&D samples, correlate findings with other characterization results, and support next research steps.Collaborate with R&D and cross‐functional teams to integrate new technologies into production and assess technical risks.Conduct research on emerging technologies and trends relevant to AT&S's long‐term development strategy.Prepare clear technical reports and documentation to ensure transparent workflows and communicate findings to senior management.
Master's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.Proven experience in R&D or a related technical environment.Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, with experience in data interpretation and technical reporting.Proficiency in PCB design, semiconductor technologies, or similar technical fields.Experience with advanced analytical or characterization methods and the ability to interpret diverse datasets.Self‐driven, detail‐oriented, and capable of working independently in a dynamic environment.Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective cross‐functional teamwork.
