Financial Accounting unit is responsible for ongoing bookkeeping and the preparation of individual and consolidated financial statements for UniCredit Bank Austria in accordance with IFRS and Austrian local GAAP UGB.
Ensuring the correct application of accounting policies as well as participation in business and regulatory projects completes the department’s scope of work.
We are looking for an experienced colleague with managerial ambitions to strengthen our Reporting team. The role focuses on coordination of the monthly closing process, reporting under IFRS and local Austrian GAAP standards, as well as methodological assessments related to new products and projects in a banking environment.
What you'll be doing
* Coordination and monitoring of consolidated and individual monthly closing process (IFRS and local Austrian GAAP)
* Preparation of IFRS/Local GAAP disclosures
* Methodological assessment of new products, transactions, and business initiatives
* Support of audit and supervisory activities
* Contribution to projects (e.g. new regulatory requirements, new products, system changes, process improvements)
What you'll need to succeed
* University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a comparable field
* Minimum 5 years of professional experience in reporting, accounting or audit in a banking or financial services environment
* Strong IFRS and local Austrian GAAP experience
* Structured, reliable, and team oriented working style
* English and German language necessary

We will agree on what you can actually earn with us in the interview! At least EUR 66.600,-- gross according to the collective agreement for 38.5 hours per week.
