Biomedica is an internationally active trading company with local offices in 13 European countries. We serve customers in the field of medical devices, in-vitro diagnostics, life science products, biomedical immunoassays and clinical IT with headquarters in Vienna. A team of around 300 experienced and young specialists and experts works to deliver innovative solutions.
We are looking for our internationally active team a Product Manager / Business Development Manager Life Science (m/f/d) focusing on Molecular Biology / Genomics and related applications.
Responsibilities
* Define and develop the product strategy as well as workflows and solutions for molecular biology and genomics-related products and applications
* Align product strategy with market needs and company goals
* Work closely with cross-functional teams including suppliers, distributor managers, sales teams as well as field application scientists and customers
* Cooperate with international Biomedica sales teams
* Visit and support national and international congresses, roadshows and seminars
* Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape together with sales teams and our business development
* Analyze competitor products and strategies
* Forecasting & reporting
* Engage with key customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and understand their needs
* Provide technical support and training to sales teams and customers
* Perform online as well as on-site demonstrations of instruments and related workflows
Profile / Qualifications
* Bachelor\'s degree (or higher) in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Genomics, Biotechnology, or related field
* Experience as a product manager or salesperson in the biotech or life sciences industry is welcome but not required
* Strong understanding of molecular biology, NGS and PCR techniques, and related applications
* Ability and willingness to learn quickly and pass on knowledge to others
* Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
* Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
* Microsoft Office skills
* Very good English skills (written/spoken)
* Willingness to travel (up to 50%)

The gross monthly salary for this position starts at EUR 3000 (full-time) and will be discussed and agreed on an individual basis, depending on qualifications and professional experience.
