Econetix and the Desert Flower Foundation are joining forces to develop high-integrity environmental projects that generate real climate benefits while channeling financial resources to the countries of the Global South most affected by climate change.
Role Overview
The Cooperation Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of collaborative projects and international events. This role requires outstanding communication, project leadership, and cross-cultural management skills. You will help bring the partnership’s mission to life through successful execution of high-profile initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, manage, and execute international events, conferences, and outreach campaigns
* Coordinate project activities and ensure alignment with shared partnership goals
* Serve as the primary communication bridge between both organizations
* Manage timelines, budgets, reporting, and project documentation
* Support stakeholder engagement with investors, sponsors, ambassadors, NGOs, and institutions
* Oversee event logistics, supplier and vendor coordination, and on‑site execution
* Contribute to communication materials such as presentations, project briefs, and promotional content
* Monitor project performance and ensure continuous improvement
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, International Relations, Event Management, Environmental Studies, or related fields
* Experience in managing international events and/or multi‑stakeholder projects
* Previous experience with climate, sustainability, or nonprofit initiatives is a strong advantage
* Fluency in English (written and spoken) required; German skills are a strong plus
* Strong organizational ability, stakeholder management, and intercultural communication skills
* Ability to multitask and work effectively in dynamic environments
* Background/experience in U.S. is a plus
* Willingness to travel internationally as needed
