Role Overview
As a Product Manager, you will take full ownership of the product lifecycle for industrial packaging solutions, especially stackable canisters and bottles for chemical applications. Your responsibilities include developing and executing product strategies based on market insights, customer needs, and technical possibilities. You will oversee product success, competitiveness, and profitability from idea to market launch and throughout the lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic and operational management of the product portfolio
* Driving product innovations and coordinating launches
* Monitoring market trends, competition, and regulatory developments
* Setting and maintaining competitive pricing strategies
* Tracking product performance using KPIs
* Providing product documentation, sales tools, and internal trainings
* Supporting sales, marketing, and customers with product expertise
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of experience in product or innovation management, ideally in blow-moulded plastic packaging
* Strong understanding of industrial packaging for chemicals (stackable canisters, containers)
* Business and market-driven thinking with technical know-how
* Proficiency in go-to-market strategies, pricing, and KPI-based product steering
* Experience in cross-functional and international collaboration
* Fluent in English; German and other European languages are a plus
* Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills
* Confident user of MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
