In Credit Portfolio Steering we monitor the development of Erste Group’s loan portfolio, with a specific focus on corporate clients in our core AT and CEE markets. Our department performs active steering and constantly develops and improves its credit risk data infrastructure in order to deliver reliable processes and further drive digitalization and efficiency.
Following the implementation of a dedicated data infrastructure for regulatory requirements, we now have access to an extensive dataset which we can leverage to improve our portfolio analysis and steering. In this role, we value structured thinking, clear communication, and reliable execution to help us translate data into meaningful portfolio decisions. Your Tasks
Provide strategic oversight of our subsidiaries' portfolio quality and steer credit risk topics across the group (e.g. automation)
Prepare and shape credit portfolio messages for senior management and communication to external stakeholders
Ensure alignment with regulatory expectations and internal risk governance
Support internal and external audits with relevant information and data
Drive forward Group and AT projects related to credit portfolio steering
Your Background
At least 5 years working experience in Corporate Banking (Account Management/Risk Management/Credit Analysis)
Flexibility and resilience to perform in a fast-paced environment
Solid understanding of macroeconomics and its implications for credit risk
Excellent communication skills and ability to synthesize complex topics for senior stakeholders
Fluent in English and German. Proficiency in a Central or Eastern European (CEE) language is a strong asset for regional collaboration
