Overview
Marketing Communications Manager EMEA is a position within Axalta in Europe. Axalta has remained at the forefront of the coatings industry by investing in innovative solutions to protect customers’ products against heat, light, corrosion, abrasion, moisture, and chemicals, and to provide colorful finishes. The company serves a diverse range of end markets and supports the next generation of infrastructure, electric and autonomous vehicles.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement global marketing communications objectives, strategies, and tactics in collaboration with global and regional marketing, technology, product management, and sales teams to achieve defined growth targets in each segment.
* Determine the appropriate mix of communications to reach target audiences, including electronic/digital marketing, traditional advertising, social media, press releases, trade shows, video, and other tools; measure effectiveness of activities.
* Develop audience-specific briefs, create compelling content, and ensure messaging consistency across all communication platforms.
* Prioritize and adjust plans in response to changing market conditions and emerging opportunities.
* Uphold brand identity and standards in all materials.
* Coordinate and track projects from conception to completion to support the business and segment strategy.
* Manage and control communication budgets aligned with business goals and segment priorities.
* Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing communication initiatives; provide regular reports and insights to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Organize, manage, and support tradeshows and events.
* Guide and advise on digital marketing communications for social media, websites, and other channels.
* Lead and manage promotional campaigns.
* Write and design compelling communications for internal and external audiences; manage translations for differing European audiences as needed.
* Support the operations of marketing communications activities including agency partnerships and vendor alliances to ensure smooth operations.
* Collaborate with customers, sales, and other stakeholders to enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or higher in journalism, communications, marketing, business, or a related discipline is preferred.
* 7–10 years of experience managing corporate or marketing communications for a global Fortune 500 company.
* Proven experience in marketing communications with a focus on strategy development and execution.
* Familiarity with B2B marketing and strong project management skills.
* Ability to engage high-level internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience managing social media campaigns.
* Experience with event or tradeshow management.
* Familiarity with digital marketing automation software and customer relationship management software.
* Familiarity with manufacturing is a plus.
* English proficiency required; superior verbal and written communications skills.
* Accountable, collaborative, and transparent in daily work; high accuracy and attention to detail.
