Your mission

The mission of this role is to drive commercial growth and strengthen Hyundai GLOVIS Europe’s competitive position in the freight‑forwarding and logistics market by:
* Expanding the business to Austrian clients and other clients throughout Europe through strategic sales initiatives, new client acquisition, and development of high‑value commercial opportunities.
* Shaping and executing commercial strategy aligned with market trends to secure long‑term, profitable growth.
* Building and maintaining strong client partnerships, acting as a trusted advisor who delivers tailored logistics solutions and ensures excellent customer satisfaction.
* Leading, developing, and empowering two operational teams (Logistics and Forwarding, 15 employees) to achieve high performance, operational excellence, and alignment with commercial objectives.
* Enhancing cross‑functional collaboration across Operations, Finance, and other departments to support seamless service delivery and business expansion.


Your profile


Professional Background & Experience


Industry Expertise

* Several years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding
* Strong understanding of market dynamics, purchasing processes, and operational workflows


Sales & Business Development Track Record

* Proven success in client acquisition, lead generation, and high‑value contract negotiations
* Experience growing business and opening new opportunities in the Austrian and Eastern EU markets
* Demonstrated ability to drive profitable, long‑term sales growth


Leadership & Team Management

* Experience managing multi‑level teams (Team Leaders + operational staff)
* Skilled in setting KPIs, enhancing performance, and developing talent
* Ability to foster a high‑performance culture across logistics and forwarding teams

* Strong strategic thinking: able to shape sales strategy aligned with market evolution
* Expert in market intelligence and competitor analysis
* Confident decision‑maker with a profitability mindset

* Skilled at building high‑value partnerships and acting as a trusted advisor
* Strong presentation and negotiation capabilities
* Comfortable dealing with escalations and resolving complex customer issues

* Analytical thinker with strong problem‑solving ability
* Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and projects
* Experienced in project management

Cross-Functional Mindset

* Works effectively with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and other departments
* Able to translate commercial needs into operational actions
* Understands end‑to‑end logistics processes deeply enough to collaborate smoothly


Growth & Market Expansion Focus

* Driven by developing new business
* Curious about market shifts, competitive moves, and customer needs
* Comfortable presenting insights to senior leadership and supporting commercial strategy at a high level


Education & Additional Qualifications

* Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, or a related field
* Very strong command of German and English (Korean is a plus but optional depending on the context)
* Valid driver's license (implied for company car)
