Role Overview
The Sales Engineer is responsible for providing technical and commercial sales support to Aquafides and Trojan’s channel partner network, with a primary focus on quotations, technical clarification, and Salesforce data accuracy.
This role supports the sales organization by enabling efficient opportunity progression while ensuring compliance with Trojan and Veralto commercial processes.
This position is part of the EMEA commercial organization, is a predominantly office‑based role (with possibility to become hybrid after onboarding) ideally located near our office in Schörfling am Attersee, Austria.
Typical Day
Provide technical sales support to Trojan & Aquafides channel partners and Regional Sales Managers throughout the pre‑order sales cycle.
Respond to technical inquiries on product selection, system configuration, and applications, coordinating with Engineering, Product Management, and Operations.
Prepare accurate technical and commercial quotations and support RFQs for pre‑engineered UV systems, including tender clarifications.
Maintain accurate opportunity, quote, and account data in Salesforce, ensuring compliance with sales processes and data quality standards.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to support order handover and drive continuous improvement of sales support processes and tools.
Essential Requirements
Technical education (Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Water/Wastewater, or similar discipline)
1–4 years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Support, Inside Sales Engineer, Application Engineer, or similar technical B2B role (early‑career profiles with relevant internships or thesis experience will also be considered)
Background or exposure to water and/or wastewater treatment; experience with UV disinfection is a strong plus
Willingness to be based in Austria, with a predominantly on‑site presence (hybrid possible)
Fluency in German and English is mandatory; French is a plus
Salary
The annual gross salary for this position starts at €50,000. A higher salary is of course possible depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

Predominantly office based in Schörfling am Attersee, Austria (hybrid model possible after onboarding).
