We are seeking a motivated student to support our CAS NFC engineering team on a part-time basis. The role involves contributing to embedded software development, with a focus on Python-based tooling and C-based library work.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the development and maintenance of software tools in Python
* Support embedded development in C
* Collaborate with experienced engineers and participate in code reviews
* Work with tools such as Git and Jira; occasional soldering tasks may be required
Profile Requirements
* Active enrollment in a relevant technical degree (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering)
* Knowledge of Python and C
* Interest in embedded systems and low-level software development
* Familiarity with Git and Jira is an advantage
* Good command of English
* Availability of at least 18 hours per week on average

The minimum salary for this position is EUR gross/month for full-time equivalent at NXP Austria.
