We are seeking a Financial Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial operations that support one of our key business units. This role is highly transactional and focused on accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting-ideal for someone who enjoys being the go-to finance partner.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
* Manage day-to-day transactional activity of the accounting function for the business unit, including AP, AR, Inventory and reconciliations.
* Maintain banking and cash flow records.
* Prepare and ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
* Analyse monthly balance sheet and P&L figures to prepare commentary.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting by providing accurate data and variance analysis.
* Support statutory reporting, audits, and tax compliance.
* Work closely with the operational team to ensure financial accuracy, efficiency and improvements.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
* Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CA desirable).
* 3-5 years' experience in financial accounting.
* Strong ERP and Excel skills.
* Detail-focused, deadline-driven, and collaborative.
