Description What INNIO offers you: An innovative and international working environment Flexible working time model (depending on position and role) Health We Care program – including company sports activities Moving cost support for new employees in accordance with policy Good connections to public transport – station in direct proximity Transportation cost support in accordance with policy One of the best canteens in the area with healthy and various meals Attractive location in the heart of the Alps with various outdoor sports and leisure possibilities Your Responsibilities: Provide support in the lab for component disassembly, visual and microscopy inspection, and sample preparation Accurately capture, record, and distribute findings in the company’s reporting structure Partner with design engineers to define and execute inspection methods and criteria Ensure the lab is fully functional, safe, organized, and that tools and workspaces are ready for use Collaborate with the materials engineering team to fulfill deliverables, comply with EH&S standards, and develop or adopt new test protocols Manage the lab booking system to prevent overlaps and ensure efficient use of workspace and tooling Ensure lab equipment is certified and functional, arranging repairs or service as needed Support the definition and implementation of material inspection practices and standards, and contribute to lab infrastructure development Your Profile: Formal education in mechanical engineering (HTL) Strong oral and written communication skills in German and English Experience and knowledge of reciprocating engine technology and systems Comfortable with report writing and documentation Willingness to continuously develop inspection techniques and participate in inspection-based training Team player, comfortable in an international environment Willingness to travel (up to 20%) and at short notice to meet customer/business requirements Knowledge and certification in NDT techniques (MPI and DPI), or willingness to attain these qualifications At INNIO, we offer an attractive compensation package that is above the collective agreement for the metal industry.
