Overview HR People Partner – Group Functions Vienna serves as a first point of contact for ~230 employees and managers across the relevant Group Functions based in Vienna, providing leadership and guidance on individual HR needs and generating employee insights that influence organisational strategies.
Responsibilities Serves as the HR of record in SAP SuccessFactors for employees in the assigned client groups.
Provide employees and managers with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues and individual employee-related HR matters; escalate concerns beyond scope to HR Business Partners; navigate employees and managers to People Operations Specialists when more appropriate.
Actively engage with employees and managers by maintaining strong visibility in the workplace and being available to address needs and concerns.
Provide dedicated guidance and coaching to managers and employees with focus on employee advocacy/engagement, employee relations management, performance management, career development, talent assessment, talent acquisition and retention, as well as disciplinary processes and workplace investigations as appropriate.
Guide employees and managers through organisational changes to ensure smooth transitions and strong engagement.
Collaborate with managers to drive cohesive decision-making and develop and execute key HR initiatives aligned with business goals and Mondi HR strategy.
Participate in employee interviewing, selection, and development to support talent acquisition and growth.
Facilitate new hire orientation to ensure a positive onboarding experience and successful integration.
Lead new manager assimilation sessions to build alignment and understanding.
Partner with Business & Functional HR Business Partners and HR CoE to drive a cohesive HR agenda and funnel employee insights to influence organisational strategy.
Provide advice to ensure consistent application of policies, procedures and practices with 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment.
Lead key HR processes including performance, talent management, compensation planning, onboarding, and training.
Support resolution of workplace conflicts by fostering constructive dialogue and fair outcomes.
Ensure all HR matters are handled fairly and in compliance with local laws and company regulations.
Maintain and protect confidential data with utmost discretion.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field from an accredited university.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a client-focused HR role, preferably in an industry environment.
Sound knowledge of Austrian labor law.
Strong communication and diplomacy skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Self-starter with the ability to prioritize, work independently, and navigate a matrix environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple issues/projects.
Excellent collaboration, influencing, project management, organizational and change management skills.
Employee advocate with a drive to help employees succeed; approachable and responsive.
Strong customer service focus and confidentiality.
Interest in innovative HR solutions and continuous improvement.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
