Management and Programme Analysis Proliferation and Network Analysis Ability to provide assessments on the status of uranium enrichment programmes and potential proliferation activities based on the analysis of all safeguards-relevant information. Qualifications, Experience and Language skills
1. Master's Degree - Advanced university degree in nuclear science, nuclear engineering, physics, chemistry, metallurgy or material science or a related technical field associated with nuclear technology.
2. Bachelor's Degree - First level university degree in one of the stipulated fields with two years of additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.
3. Minimum of 10 years of relevant technical and operational experience working within uranium enrichment programmes.
4. Recognized subject matter expert with extensive practical experience in uranium enrichment research and development and the commissioning/operation of pilot and/or industrial scale uranium enrichment facilities.
5. Proven experience in and knowledge of procedures for handling sensitive technical information and dealing with issues at the State level.
6. Training or qualifications relevant to nuclear non-proliferation developed within a commercial, national authority, or international organizational environment
7. Excellent oral and written command of English. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.
Remuneration
The IAEA offers an attractive remuneration package including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at US $101540 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance), a variable post adjustment which currently amounts to US $ 50364*, dependency benefits, rental subsidy, education grant, relocation and repatriation expenses; Other benefits include 6 weeks' annual leave, home leave travel, pension plan and health insurance.
