This Position reports to: Project Manager
Your Role: Own the Challenge
As a Project Manager in the field of automation, you take on full responsibility for complex projects in the process industry (oil & gas, chemicals) as well as in hydropower. With your technical expertise and project management experience, you guide projects from the proposal phase through to successful completion – both technically and commercially. You not only ensure smooth execution but also build long-term customer relationships and play a key role in further developing our business.
* Lead complete automation projects from proposal preparation through project execution to final handover to the customer, covering all phases of the project lifecycle.
* Technical and commercial responsibility including resource planning, schedule and cost control, as well as risk and change management throughout the project.
* Selection and coordination of internal and external partners and close collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Controlling.
* Regular reporting to management on project status, opportunities, and risks, organization of on-site installations and commissioning, support during customer acceptance, and identification of project opportunities including initiation of follow-up projects with customers.
What It Takes To Run What Runs The World
* Completed technical education (HTL, University of Applied Sciences, Technical University), ideally in electrical/power engineering or automation.
* Several years of experience in technical projects (plant engineering, automation, engineering).
* Solid commercial knowledge and confident use of MS Office; SAP experience is an advantage.
* Excellent German and good English skills.
* Class B driving license.
* Confident demeanor, strong communication skills, and enjoyment of teamwork.
* Structured, independent working style, cost awareness, and willingness to travel (approximately 20% within Austria).

In accordance with the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry in Austria, the minimum salary for this position is € 57.000 gross per year as of May 2025. There is a clear willingness to offer compensation above the collectively agreed minimum salary, depending on qualifications and experience.
