Clinical Effectiveness Lead, Mental Health
Location: National Headquarters, Gyle Square, 1 South Gyle Crescent, Edinburgh, EH12 9EB. Candidates will be able to work remotely as travel may be required throughout Scotland.
Salary: 7 Ranging from (£52,845 - £61,466) per annum, dependent upon experience.
Hours per week: 36 hrs. Consideration will be given to candidates who would like to work both full or part time.
Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to provide leadership and strategic direction through implementation of the national mental health strategy and delivery plan. The post holder will interpret national policy & professional standards & apply these to inform & lead the development of local strategies & policy to ensure a robust response within the Scottish Ambulance Service.
Qualifications and Experience
You will be a registered allied health profession or nurse, a mental health clinician engaged with local and national mental health networks, and demonstrate existing leadership in this area. Educated to degree level with postgraduate or equivalent relevant qualifications, you will have extensive clinical experience (more than 5 years) with experience of teaching, coaching or mentoring staff in mental health settings.
The post holder will be responsible to the head of mental health and dementia and will have significant autonomy in their role.
Qualifications
* Registered with the HCPC, NMC or equivalent.
* Educated to degree level with highly developed professional knowledge of the subject area.
* Demonstrate achievement in areas of quality, practice development, research or policy and clinical practice.
* Have excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to manage change. Flexibility and ability to work independently.
* Facilitation, problem solving, networking and project management skills.
