Your new adventure
* Develop and implement global commodity strategies for the Castings category
* Analyze international sourcing markets and actively identify and develop new supply sources
* Build and manage a high‑performing global supplier portfolio
* Independently lead price and contract negotiations
* Conduct cost and benchmark analyses and develop risk mitigation strategies
* Work closely with Supplier Management and Project Procurement
Your Skills And Experiences
* Degree or equivalent qualification in a technical or business‑related field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration)
* Several years of experience in strategic sourcing / procurement in an international industrial environment (automotive is a plus)
* Experience in sourcing technical components (e.g. metal, cast, or engine parts)
* Proven expertise in global sourcing and building/developing international supplier networks
* Strong negotiation and communication skills with a proactive mindset
* High level of technical understanding and affinity for complex products
* Fluent English skills
We offer
You will be offered an exciting position in an international company with many interesting benefits and diverse development opportunities. The minimum salary for this position is EUR 60 962,30 gross/year in accordance with the collective agreement for the metal industry. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer an attractive and performance‑related salary with corresponding overpayment.
