We are looking for someone technically strong, operationally engaged, and capable of thriving in a hands-on, multi-entity environment.Main responsibilities:Functionally lead the finance organization across the relevant countries, with indirect oversight of Legal Entity Controllers and local accounting staffFull ownership of local and group reporting, ensuring compliance with UGB, CO and US GAAPResponsibility for month-end close, account reconciliations, and statutory financial statements for both local and group accountsEnsuring complete compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements, including VAT, customs, and cross-border transactions, through our Shared Service CenterActing as the primary contact for external auditors, tax authorities, and local institutionsLeading assigned internal controls and SOX compliance activities, while serving as a steward of financial governance across the organizationManaging the preparation of the Tax Provision Process in collaboration with global and local tax teamsOverseeing the submission of statistical and regulatory filings as required by local authoritiesParticipating in and supporting Board of Directors and shareholder meetings, including the preparation and review of statutory financial statements and corporate resolutionsDriving the implementation, improvement, and optimization of accounting and reporting processes, and acting as a finance partner to local business teamsLeading and supporting key strategic finance projects, such as: Planned ERP system rollout and M&A integration and cross-border finance harmonizationWhat you should bring:A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance/Accounting, with certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equal through experience.Minimum of 8 years' senior accounting/finance experience, ideally a mix of Big 4 and multinational industry experienceStrong technical knowledge in UGB, CO, US GAAP (IFRS is a plus)Proven track record in statutory reporting, audit management, tax filings, and regulatory complianceBackground in industrial or production-based sectorsExperience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and finance transformation initiativesFluent in German and EnglishThis is an attractive opportunity for long-term growth within a dynamic international group.
