Job Description:
Your tasks:
* Dissertation in the field of geotechnics and natural hazards
* Own research with the aim of writing a dissertation
* Teaching in the field of geotechnics and natural hazards
* Participation in research projects
* Administrative tasks
* Training and further education
Your profile:
* Completed relevant master's or diploma programme (civil engineering, environmental engineering)
* In-depth knowledge of: Geotechnics, numerical calculations with discrete element method, model tests, laboratory tests, geotechnical measurements, natural hazards, mass movements, rockfall modelling, geotechnical field tests
* Very good knowledge of German (written and spoken)
* Good knowledge of English
* Ability to work independently
* Interdisciplinary interest
* Co-operative character
* Ability to work in a team, creative problem-solving skills
