We are seeking an experienced Freelance Electrical Site Supervisor to support the delivery of a data center construction project in Austria. The role is site-based and focuses on supervising electrical works, maintaining safety and quality standards, and coordinating subcontractors on a mission‑critical project.
Location: Austria (on‑site, project‑based)
Rotation: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Scope of Services
* Supervise and coordinate on‑site electrical works, including LV/MV systems, power distribution, UPS, generators, earthing, and lighting.
* Manage electricians and electrical subcontractors; coordinate with other disciplines on site.
* Ensure works are executed in accordance with drawings, specifications, schedules, and method statements.
* Enforce HSE requirements and compliance with Austrian and EU electrical regulations.
* Monitor installation quality and support testing, inspections, commissioning, and handover activities.
* Maintain daily site reports and provide progress updates to project management.
* Act as the primary on‑site electrical contact for the client and project team.
Contractor Requirements
* Electrical trade qualification or technical diploma (electrician, technician, Meister, or equivalent).
* Proven experience supervising electrical works on large‑scale projects; data center or critical infrastructure experience preferred.
* Strong knowledge of LV/MV systems and mission‑critical power infrastructure.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
* English: required; German: a strong advantage.
* Willingness to work on site in Austria for the duration of the rotation.
