As part of the Global Data Department, the OPS Data & Process Development team focuses on delivering data-driven projects for the Global Operations department, making relevant data and analysis available for fact-based decisions.
To strengthen our HQ team, we are looking for an intern with data & technical affinity. You'll support the project teams within translating business requirements into technical concepts, especially data visualisations, as well as documenting and test new solutions.
We are looking for a motivated talent who can join us for a period of 6 months.
Job Description
VISUALIZE DATA
In this internship you'll participate in and support projects to establishing new analytical solutions and dashboards for the Global Operations Team. This includes developing new visualizations based on documented business requirements but also supporting existing data solutions with day-to-day tasks to ensure stable operation.
CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
You'll assist in gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements which will be the bases for the technical implementation of the new analytics & reporting solutions.
DOCUMENT AND TEST
You'll contribute to documenting existing solutions and creating end-user documentation to support knowledge sharing. Additionally, you'll take part in testing activities to ensure data accuracy and quality.
Qualifications
* University degree with focus on business administration or supply chain management
* Fluent in English, German is a plus
* Experience with data visualization and dashboarding applications, such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI or other
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, structured thinker with analytical skills
* Studies or experience in Operations or Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Analytics
* Knowledge in tools for data wrangling, such as Snowflake, Trifacta, SQL or Coding Language is beneficial
