In this key role, you will take over the leadership of the SoftwareTools‑team (10 employees) and actively shape the future of TGW's development landscape and the team. You create optimal conditions so that your team can develop modern, scalable and high-quality software tools and platforms that sustainably improve and support engineering, controls, implementation, production and after‑sales processes.
You bring initial management experience paired with the necessary technical expertise. Designing and transforming is a welcome challenge for you. Through your willingness to get to know new things, to recognize the connections and to draw the necessary conclusions, you act as an enabler for your immediate team as well as for TGW Logistics.
Responsibilities
Primary strategic responsibility for the engineering, IoT management and production toolchain, which is developed and operated by the team
Creative leadership role as a team leader for the holistic and individual development of the team
Evaluation and introduction of new technologies to automate, standardize and optimize software development
Strategic planning for the team in collaboration with project managers and product owners
Coordination of cooperation with DevOps, infrastructure teams and other internal interface partners
Ensure future‑oriented, scalable architectures and applications according to modern standards
Qualifications
Completed technical education (HTL/FH/Uni) in the field of IT/software/mechatronics
First or several years of experience in leading or transforming software development teams
Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps is an advantage
Experience with internationally distributed development teams is an advantage
High team and communication skills – you act in a networked, solution‑oriented manner and with high implementation power
Affinity for mechatronics, IoT or digitized production processes
Practical knowledge of English and written and spoken German

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, depending on qualifications and professional experience. The minimum gross basic salary per year is 60,963 euros.
