Your Tasks
In this role, you will act within the Group Finance area as a key business-side interface to VIG IT and local finance departments, supporting VIG companies in the periodic Financial Reporting and transformation of the Group‑wide SAP finance landscape. As part of the Finance Operations & Processes team you will contribute to standardized, compliant, and future‑oriented finance solutions and processes across the Group.
Your responsibilities include:
* Support VIG Group companies within Austria and abroad in the implementation, enhancement and ongoing operation of our Group‑wide SAP systems (NewGL, BW, FPSL, SEM-BCS etc.). Thereby actively contribute to the integration of newly acquired entities as part of a major transformation initiative.
* Take a leading business‑side role in the Group‑wide S/4HANA Finance Systems Transformation impacting several SAP systems and processes.
* Coordinate, structure, and document finance‑related change requests arising across the entire lifecycle – from initial business requirements and concept design through to testing and final acceptance.
* Ensure adherence to Group finance policies and IFRS, and drive the alignment of Group‑wide SAP finance templates and configurations.
* Support and guide Group companies through quarterly Group reporting processes.
* Act as a central liaison between Group Finance, local entities, VIG IT, external partners and parallel integration projects.
* Proactively analyze finance processes, identify optimisation potential, and contribute to continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
* Completed degree or education in Business informatics, Finance & Accounting, Economics or a comparable field.
* Relevant professional experience in a business‑IT interface role.
* Profound knowledge and experience in working with SAP systems, ideally with S/4HANA.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills in an international working environment.
* Reliability and high ability to work under pressure as well as an independent and responsible approach.
* Very good knowledge of written and spoken English; knowledge of German is an advantage but not a prerequisite.

Based on the legal requirements, we inform about the monthly minimum salary according to the collective agreement of EUR 3 248,7 gross on the basis of full‑time employment (37,5 hours / week). Of course, the remuneration package is market‑compliant. It is important to us that your salary is based on your qualifications and experience, therefore we will discuss the salary together in a personal interview.
This full‑time position is to be filled as soon as possible.
