TheFinancial Controllerwill manage the day-to-day accounting procedures and act as business support to the other departments by streamlining processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency in both Miiro hotels in Vienna.
The FC will be the link between the General Manager, the outsourced accounting team and the Regional Financial and Asset Manager Team. You will be playing an important role in the daily operations and will have the opportunity to shape the way you are controlling both costs and policies and ensuring the hotels are compliant with local legislation.
Your responsibilities will include
* Purchasing:
o To guide the Heads of Departments to ensure that all purchase orders are entered in the hotel’s procurement system and approved accordingly
o Coordinate and initiate cost control procedures in different departments and make suggestions towards improvements
* Accounts Payable:
o Ensuring accuracy of invoice coding
o Verify payment run accuracy once draft is sent by external accounting company
* Income Audit:
o Check rebates, discounts, refunds, and in-house entertainment
o Double check credit card integration and PMS/POS reconciliation
* General Cashier:
o Reconciling weekly banking drop (as per PMS/POS) vs money received bank
* Accounts Receivable:
o Monitor incoming payments and ensuring deposits are posted on a timely basis
o Verify commissions are correctly deducted if at source
* Reporting & Financial Records:
o Support GM with the Month-End process preparation and review of P&L
o Support GM In yearly budgets and weekly & monthly forecasts
o Cash flow management
o FFE transfers initiation
Your profile
o Experience in the financial controlling of a multi-property hotel
o Business English is a must on top of local language
o Experience in managing your own team and striving for success for you and your team
o In love with numbers and detail-oriented describe your personality
o Great communication skills for handling internal and external partners

The salary for this position with corresponding professional education and/or relevant experience amounts toup to €4,500.-gross per month (including overhours). Additionally this position entails a performance related bonus-scheme. The details will be discussed individually in ourpersonal interview.
