New Responsibilities:
* Contribute to designing state-of-the-art complex SoCs in a multi-site setup, focusing on all aspects of Physical SoC Design.
* Drive hierarchical floorplanning, placement, clock tree generation, routing, and power distribution for efficient timing closure and sign-off.
* Collaborate closely with a team of layout experts throughout all RTL2GDS phases, ensuring first-time-right silicon.
* Support methodology improvements and tool flow optimization for enhanced productivity and scalability.
* Share expertise and drive innovation as a member of our internal expert network.
* Act as a technical interface to internal and external stakeholders to align physical design strategies across teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics or a related field.
* At least 5 years of experience in SoC Physical Design.
* Solid expertise in floorplanning, place & route, clock tree synthesis, and sign-off verification.
* A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
* A drive for innovation and continuous improvement in physical design methodologies.
* Full working proficiency in English; German is a plus.
