Global Supplier Quality & Compliance Manager (m/f/d) (Early Clinical Development) – Boehringer Ingelheim
Join Boehringer Ingelheim as a Global Supplier Quality & Compliance Manager in the Global Quality Medicine Department in Vienna. The role focuses primarily on suppliers performing Early Clinical Development / Phase I study activities. You will help advance the development pipeline by ensuring robust supplier quality systems and compliance standards, collaborating cross-functionally to oversee supplier qualification, oversight/governance and continuous improvement of external partners to deliver safe and effective medicines worldwide.
Responsibilities
* Provide input into the global strategy for supplier quality management and ensure execution for assigned suppliers, interacting directly with suppliers to ensure end-to-end quality management and oversight.
* Perform defined tasks for qualification, oversight and termination of suppliers for Quality Medicine, with a specific focus on Early Clinical Development / Phase I activities.
* Support preparation, management, and performance of inspections related to supplier activities.
* Provide cross-functional consultancy on GxP topics related to supplier and service activities; author Quality Management Agreements when required.
Qualifications
* Bachelor or Master’s degree in Biology, Sciences, Business (e.g., MBA, MSc) or equivalent qualification.
* Experience with GCP quality management systems and Early Clinical Development / Phase I activities.
* Strong organizational, project management, conflict resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills.
* Solid understanding of relevant regulations, company processes and procedures, with ability to assess their impact.
* Initial experience in supplier quality topics and oversight responsibilities.

The remuneration for this position starts at EUR 74,000 gross annual target salary (full-time). Actual salary depends on experience and qualifications. Further details can be discussed in person.
