In your new role, you will:
* Learn about the concepts of self-inductance and how it influences signal integrity on printed circuit board circuits
* Improve your skills in circuit simulation and circuit simulators (pre-knowledge is highly desirable)
* Design, build, and evaluate a working simulation
* Compare different layout variants through simulation
* Propose optimized printed circuit board layout and verify it via simulation
* Compare simulation results with produced printed circuit boards

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 12 months
You are best equipped for this task if you:
* Have a strong ambition for circuit simulation
* Have basic knowledge in printed circuit board layout and design
* Are able to read and understand electronic schematics and printed circuit board layouts
* Know how to simulate an electronic circuit (highly desirable)
* Want to become a growing expert in circuit simulators, especially Keysight ADS / PE Pro and Ansys Q3D
* Are self-motivated and ready to work on a flexible schedule that suits your curriculum and project needs
* Have a hands-on mentality and enjoy bringing ideas to life
* Have good English and German skills and can collaborate within an international team
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students. Minimum salary details.
