What you will do
Act as the trusted finance partner to Axpo's COO and management team incl. Technology, People & Culture, Procurement, Compliance and Strategic Projects
Take responsibility for controlling processes: planning, forecasting and monthly performance reporting
Operate & develop analytical controlling tools incl. variance analyses and insights that drive decisions
Design and optimize the financial framework, cost allocation models and service charging schemes
Build and automate dashboards/reports in Excel/SAP/BI; raise data quality and speed
Support business cases and investment steering for IT programs and platforms; prepare materials for the COO leadership team and interact with C‑level stakeholders
What you bring & who you are
University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Controlling, or similar
5+ years' experience in Controlling; ideally with IT Controlling exposure in a complex organization
Strong IT basis: understanding of modern finance tools, advanced Excel, solid SAP (CO/FI preferred) and hands‑on BI skills (e.g., Power BI)
Confident communicator in English (must); German is a plus
Ideally, you are comfortable engaging senior/C‑level stakeholders, you are proactive, analytical, curious, and able to simplify complexity into actionable insights
