Process Quality Engineer FI-AOI
In your role as a Process Quality Engineer (PQE), you ensure efficient production while maintaining defined quality standards. You support daily operations by resolving production issues and acting as a key technical interface. Additionally, you drive the introduction of new technologies aligned with customer and company requirements.
Your Responsibilities
* Ensure high process stability and product quality using statistical quality tools and monitoring systems.
* Support daily production operations and provide rapid problem-solving for process deviations.
* Lead the introduction, qualification, and validation of new equipment and production technologies.
* Define process limits and optimize process interactions to secure product quality.
* Drive continuous improvement of productivity, efficiency, throughput time, and cost reduction.
* Develop and implement structured reaction plans (ORP) for process deviations.
* Create, maintain, and update all process-related documentation (e.g., TLI, CP, PI).
* Act as technical expert for new product introductions, including approval or rejection for production readiness.
Your Profile
* Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and quality engineering principles.
* Experience in process optimization, statistical analysis, and quality assurance methods (e.g., FMEA).
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams as well in German.
* Ability to work hands‑on in a fast‑paced production environment and solve complex problems.
* Experience in working with suppliers and supporting equipment specifications and negotiations.
* Strong sense of responsibility for quality, documentation, and compliance with standards.
* Capability to train and coach production staff on process and product requirements.
* Analytical mindset with a structured approach to monitoring KPIs and driving improvements.
