Job Description
ROLE
As the Assistant Store Director, you will lead your team of Client Advisors by example and coach them to success, while driving store sales targets and delivering KPIs. Reporting directly to the Store Director, you will act as an ambassador of the brand and work closely with the Store Director to ensure alignment in managerial approaches. Your responsibility includes promoting brand engagement to clients to meet quantitative and qualitative store goals.
MISSION
1. Assist the Store Director in overseeing floor coverage, driving sales, visual merchandising, maintaining high customer service levels, and operational activities.
2. Support the sales team in selling to VIP clients.
3. Analyze sales results, verify daily, weekly, monthly activities, and prepare yearly assessments.
4. Report relevant information to Headquarters and share it with staff.
5. Monitor the local business environment, including competition, and communicate relevant insights to staff.
6. Keep the sales team updated on KPIs and support them in achieving these goals.
7. Support the Store Director in talent acquisition, development, and retention.
8. Assist in training and developing the sales team on operational aspects.
9. Promote professional growth and training through mentoring and share development plans.
10. Build a network with local and international luxury business contacts to enhance customer loyalty, especially with top clients.
11. Oversee clienteling activities in line with brand guidelines.
12. Maintain team behaviors and store appearance consistent with Saint Laurent standards.
13. Handle customer complaints delicately and ensure sales processes comply with standards.
14. Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and internal requirements.
15. Manage stock, inventory, and other operational processes according to Golden Rules.
PROFILE
* Minimum of 4 years managerial experience.
* Proven success in managing a team, including goal setting, delegation, and results follow-up.
* Extensive experience in luxury goods or retail sales.
* Adaptable, transparent, dynamic, and curious approach.
* High sensitivity to customer experience, engagement, and loyalty.
* Exceptional interpersonal and persuasive skills.
* Detail-oriented and highly organized.
* Willingness to participate in innovative projects.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
