Technical Supervisor IC
In your role, you act as a technical role model for production processes within the Production Plating department at our HTB3 site (IC Substrates). Through an inclusive, open‑minded and team‑oriented leadership style, you ensure a stable production environment and continuously improve applied technologies. You collaborate closely with Process and R&D Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, EHS and Operations to drive high yields, cost efficiency and operational excellence in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
Your Responsibilities
* Lead, develop and train a production team of approximately 8 people with a strong improvement mindset
* Ensure stable, high‑yield, cost‑efficient and lean production processes
* Define, select and support suitable process tools and tooling for the HVM phase
* Contribute to equipment engineering topics and process documentation for all assigned tools
* Perform customer support, failure analysis and root cause investigations
* Manage suppliers related to process equipment (CapEx / OpEx)
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction
Your Profile
* University degree or higher technical education in Materials Science, Mechanical, Industrial or Chemical Engineering
* Proven experience as an engineer or process engineer in a relevant production environment
* Strong knowledge of process engineering within IC substrates, assembly, IC packaging or related semiconductor industries
* Proven experience with Six Sigma tools (SPC, DOE, FMEA, MSA, 8D, 5‑Why, CP) and data‑driven decision making
* Proficiency with MS Office, JMP, Minitab, SAP and process control systems
* Fluent English skills; German knowledge is an advantage
* High stress resilience, attention to detail and willingness to work in cleanroom environments and overtime
* Open‑minded personality with strong teamwork skills and experience in intercultural collaborations
