Technical Editor (m/f/d)At **SKIDATA,** a global leader in access solutions, we are looking for a **Technical Editor** to strengthen our documentation team. Inthis role, you will shape and maintain our documentation portfolio, drive quality and consistency standards, and actively explore Al-based approaches to modern technical documentation and knowledge management.* **Create, update, and maintain high-quality technical documentation** such as online helps, user manuals, technician manuals, and installation instructions for SKIDATA products.* **Lead documentation projects** independently, including planning, coordination, execution, and timely delivery while ensuring consistent quality standards.* **Research, evaluate, and support the adoption of Al-based tools** and methods for technical documentation and knowledge management within the department.* **Check, apply, and further develop documentation standards and guidelines** to ensure consistency across the entire documentation portfolio.* **Work closely with internal stakeholders** such as Product Development, Quality Assurance, Product Compliance, Product Management, and Global Technical Support.* **Create and integrate screencasts and videos into online help** where appropriate. * Basic knowledge of **HTML and CSS.*** Strong interest in **Al technologies** and a willingness to develop Al-related know-how within the technical documentation environment. Fluency in written and spoken **English;** additional languages are an advantage.- **Technical education** or comparable education with a **strong interest in technology.**- Strong interest and proven ability in **building, structuring, and transferring technical knowledge.** Excellent **technical writing skills** with a strong focus on clarity, consistency, and quality.- Experience with **Microsoft Office** products and **Adobe tools**.- Very good **communication skills** and the **ability to collaborate** effectively with diverse stakeholders. Ability to **manage conflicts** constructively and solution-oriented.We offer a market-competitive salary based on your qualifications and professional experience. The collective agreement minimum for this position is EUR 2,362.00 gross per month based on full-time employment.
