Lead Physical Performance Coach

The RedBull Athlete Performance Center is an athlete accelerator designed to enable RedBull athletes to become truly outstanding performers. We utilize advanced technology, analytics, and insights from hundreds of sports to recognize each athlete’s individual potential.
The primary purpose of this role is to manage and guide RedBull APC Physical Performance Coaches in athletic, rehabilitation, and performance-related topics, ensuring the delivery of world-class physical performance interventions that are optimized and individualized to maximize impact on RedBull athletes and teams.
Working closely with the Global Performance Director and the Lead Physical Performance Scientist, the Lead Physical Performance Coach will promote an interdisciplinary approach (including Mental Performance, Performance Innovation, Performance Projects, Nutrition, Physiotherapy, Medical Doctors, and colleagues from across business operations) to achieve positive performance outcomes for RedBull athletes at the APC.

Team-Lead
* Leading and managing the Physical Performance Coaches, focusing on methodological, developmental, organizational, and strategic directions to achieve high-quality results.
* Ensuring continuous development and education of team members to maintain necessary skills and knowledge.
* Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders to report progress and address challenges.
* Implementing best practices and continuous improvement strategies to optimize team performance.
Collaboration
* Collaborating with other APC departments and integrating activities within the wider APC performance system (projects, teams, etc.).
* Managing key relationships with external equipment, technology, and sport science support partners in physical performance.
* Thinking strategically and executing key strategic targets.
Assessment, training, and programming
* Assisting with athlete assessment and testing related to their sport-specific physical skills and goals, providing training and intervention recommendations based on results.
* Programming physical performance training, including rehabilitation and return-to-sport protocols.
* Integrating innovative, modern training concepts to achieve performance goals.
* Supporting athletes remotely via applicable tools and creating educational content for the RedBull athlete community.
* Demonstrating high-performance experiences for RedBull athletes.
Expertise

Für die Rolle relevant:
* 8+ years of proven success in performance environments across sports organizations.
* Deep understanding of elite athlete performance testing and programming across multiple sports domains.
* Masters in Strength and Conditioning, Sport Science, or equivalent.
* High-level performance support in international and domestic sports programs.
* Experience in developing programs and performance projects to drive systemic change.
* Creative, strategic thinker capable of bridging vision with practical execution in targeted sports environments.
* Well-connected in the physical performance field, with coaches, experts, and potential partners.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Fluent in written and spoken English (additional languages desirable).
