How You'll Make Your Mark
As experienced Group Director, you build, lead, and inspire a high‑performing team of strategy professionals, customer experience experts, marketing and communication specialists, ensuring their professional development while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and excellence
At ALDI SÜD's International Customer Interaction unit, you own and drive the end‑to‑end transition and transformation of customer interaction initiatives, taking full accountability for strategic execution, change management and the realisation of business impact across markets
You’ll develop and present the comprehensive business vision, strategy, goals and operating model for ICI in alignment with ALDI's corporate strategy, championing simplicity, efficiency and cost‑effectiveness while maximising value through integrated omnichannel solutions
You maintain and communicate a clear strategic roadmap, effectively prioritising initiatives, managing resources and budgets, and ensuring alignment between business needs, organisational capacity and market opportunities
You’ll represent ICI in executive‑level decision‑making processes and maintain proactive communication with C‑suite stakeholders on strategic requirements, progress, risks and opportunities
You’ll facilitate and prepare strategic decisions for international committees, regularly presenting updates and recommendations to ICIC, GSO, IMC, TPC and other executive forums
You’ll engage and align key stakeholders across all organisational functions and geographies, building strong relationships to collect insights, communicate strategic plans and ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives (e.g. next ALDI)
You’ll maintain close strategic partnerships particularly with product lines and IPO Strategy to ensure seamless strategy implementation and cross‑functional synergies
You’ll establish and monitor performance through strategic KPIs and OKRs, drive continuous process optimisation, manage substantial budgets and evaluate results to ensure sustained competitive advantage and ROI
Your Profile
As a Group Director for ICI, you hold a master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Digital Business or other relevant fields
You have more than 7 years of professional experience in a fast‑paced environment with a proven track record in customer experience transformation
You bring more than 5 years of solid experience in building and optimising digital customer interaction strategies, e‑commerce ecosystems or customer engagement platforms within retail
As an experienced leader, you have at least 5 years of experience leading cross‑functional teams (15+ employees) with demonstrated competence in talent development and building high‑performance teams
You have successfully developed and implemented international customer interaction strategies for large corporations, ideally across multiple markets and cultures
You have strong business acumen and entrepreneurial skills with the ability to make informed decisions in complex environments
You have exceptional methodical competencies including structuring and planning, analytical and conceptual thinking, applying frameworks and facilitation
As a Group Director, you have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at C‑level and can convincingly convey complex strategies while building consensus across different organizational levels
You strive for simplicity, efficiency and cost‑effectiveness while delivering value through omnichannel solutions
You are fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
