Overview
NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the proposal preparation of the EU funded project called: EOM 2026 and is currently seeking qualified professionals to join the project team.
The overall objective of this assignment is to:
* strengthen democratisation, good governance and conflict prevention;
* contribute to reducing inter alia the possibility of fraud, manipulation, intimidation which could undermine the electoral processes;
* improve the legal framework and conduct of future elections, as well as public confidence in the institutions;
* inform the European institutions on the conduct of elections in selected third countries.
Duration
The intended start date is 1 January 2026 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 48 months from this date.
Key Expert: Political Expert (Host Country)
Qualifications and Skills:
* Master's in law/political science/international relations or 5+ years experience in lieu.
General experience:
* Cat. I: 10+ years / Cat. II: 5+ years in:
Elections/electoral assistance;
Human rights, democratisation;
Rule of law/civil society.
Specific experience:
* Election observation/assessment.
* Electoral systems/administration/standards.
* Familiarity with national election frameworks.
* Understanding of election management bodies.
