Senior Technical Product & Delivery Lead (m/f/*)
What are my responsibilities?
We are seeking a Senior Technical Product & Delivery Lead for the department Information & Digital Technology (IDT CD) to take end-to-end responsibility for the technical leadership, product ownership, cloud platform governance, and agile delivery of our product.
The role combines Development Leadership, Product Management, Product Ownership, Scrum Master responsibilities, and Cloud Platform ownership. The ideal candidate is equally strong in technology, product thinking, and team enablement, and can operate confidently across business and technical stakeholders.
Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Lead internal and external development team and provide overall technical leadership
2. Define, review, and continuously improve system and solution architecture
3. Translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions
4. Own Azure cloud architecture for the product, including resource management, environments, deployments, and cost control
5. Review, maintain, and improve Infrastructure
6. Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and operational standards
7. Manage releases, technical milestones, access, licenses, and system documentation
8. Define product vision, roadmap, annual scope, milestones, and non-functional requirements
9. Lead technical stakeholder communication and define integration requirements
10. Manage product development budgeting, resource planning, and forecasting
11. Own and prioritize the product backlog; define epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and scope decisions
12. Support sprint execution, clarify requirements, remove blockers, and accept delivered work
13. Establish and improve agile ways of working; facilitate planning, refinement, and retrospectives
14. Coach teams on Scrum, ensure delivery transparency, and drive continuous improvement
15. Conduct Team meetings and 1-on-1, ensure team well-being, and drive continuous improvement
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Technical Expertise
16. Experience working in enterprise organizations.
17. Experience leading hybrid (internal + external) software development teams and providing technical direction.
18. Strong expertise in designing, reviewing, and improving system and solution architectures.
19. Ability to translate business needs into secure, scalable technical solutions.
20. Solid cloud computing expertise with a focus on Azure (resources, environments, deployments, cost control).
21. Good understanding of infrastructure, security, and compliance standards.
22. Experience managing releases, documentation, access, and licenses.
23. Strong capability in defining integration requirements and communicating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Product & Delivery
24. Experience defining product vision, roadmaps, annual scopes, milestones, and non‑functional requirements.
25. Strong experience owning and prioritizing product backlogs, including defining epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
26. Experience with budgeting, resource planning, and forecasting.
Leadership
27. Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, with experience facilitating planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
28. Experience coaching teams on Agile principles and ensuring transparency in delivery.
29. Demonstrated leadership experience including conducting team meetings, 1‑on‑1s, and ensuring high team morale.
Collaboration and Communication
30. Collaboration with stakeholders across multiple business segments and departments both technical and management
31. Communication of key topics, updates and new releases to stakeholders
32. Collaboration, communication and leadership of external partner development team supporting technical product development
33. To ensure good communication across the team and stakeholders, fluency in both German and English is a prerequisite.
What else do I need to know?
The minimum annual gross salary for this position under the collective agreement and assuming that all requirements are met is EUR 60.962,30 (G/00).
