We are partnering with one of our most exciting clients a hyper-growth organization leading the market in Austria to hire a Business Development Manager.
This is a newly created, high-autonomy role for a professional who thrives on speed, independence, and "feet on the ground" impact.
The Role
This is a fast-paced, B2B field sales position. You will spend 80% of your time on the road, building face‑to‑face partnerships with retail stores and local manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Territory Ownership: Map your region and identify high-growth prospect clients.
* Relationship Management: Maintain a high-volume portfolio of retail partners and promote full-service solutions.
* Strategic Negotiation: Secure favourable purchasing conditions and strengthen ties with local manufacturers.
* Operational Excellence: Streamline procurement to ensure efficiency and consistent product quality.
What You’ll Need:
* Experience: 3+ years in Sales, BD, Purchasing, or Account Management.
* Mobility: Willingness to travel 4 days/week (including regular overnight stays).
* Influence: Proven ability to negotiate with everyone from local owners to CEOs.
* Agility: A "speed over perfection" mindset suited for a rapid scale-up environment.
* Languages: Fluency in German and English (written and verbal) is essential.
