Our client is an established, internationally active industrial company specializing in technical product development and system solutions within the refrigeration sector. For their Research & Development department at the Styria location, we are seeking a dedicated engineer for the earliest possible start.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Product Development: Independent development of commercial refrigeration products.
Project Management: Collaboration on new product development projects with a focus on refrigeration technology, working closely with senior engineers.
Analysis & Coordination: Analyzing measurement results in test labs and coordinating across departments to launch new products and resolve issues in production, the field, or with suppliers.
Technical Support: Assisting with root cause analysis and implementing corrective measures for field complaints.
Technology & Innovation: Serving as the technical point of contact for external suppliers and driving the R&D of new technologies.
YOUR EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Education: A completed higher degree (University, TU, FH, or HTL) in Engineering or Natural Sciences is required.
Expertise: Solid knowledge of thermodynamics in air conditioning, heat pumps, or cooling products is essential.
Experience (preferred): Several years of experience in the development of these specific products is an advantage.
Languages: Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) is a must; German is considered a "nice to have.
Soft Skills: A solution-oriented and goal-driven work ethic, along with strong teamwork and communication skills, are essential.
Commitment: Willingness for continuous professional development and a preference for office-based work (remote work up to two days per week is possible).
Travel: A readiness to travel (up to 20%) is desirable.
THE OFFER Our client offers a minimum annual gross salary of EUR 65,000.- for this role. Significant overpayment is, of course, available depending on your specific professional experience and qualifications.
