Senior Site Reliability Engineer (f/m/x)

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be part of the team which develops and maintains our application platforms (based on Openshift) and their shared services (CD, monitoring, logging, IAM) built on top of a public cloud provider like AWS.
Your mission:
* Develop and maintain the application platforms on which the Raiffeisen Bausparkasse services run
* Develop self-services for the development teams to rapidly provision application environments
* Allow developers to use DevOps practices to maintain user-facing products without divergence in practice across the business
* Identify and automate manual and repetitive IT operations tasks
* Enable observability to help understand and monitor the internal state of the system and of our services
* Develop and maintain tools which support development teams to deliver quality software faster (like CD pipelines, monitoring, logging)
Your core competencies:
* 8+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or operating and supporting production systems
* Strong experience in Site Reliability Engineering / DevOps practices, including designing, building, and operating reliable, scalable systems
* Proven hands‑on experience with containerization and orchestration platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) in production environments
* Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tooling, with practical experience in tools such as ArgoCD, Jenkins, TeamCity, or similar
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), including managing infrastructure at scale
* Experience with observability and monitoring ecosystems, including metrics, logging, and alerting (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog)
Nice to have:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
* Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long‑term reliability improvements
* Familiarity with cloud platforms and distributed systems architecture, including high availability and fault‑tolerant design principles

* Salary: This position offers an annual gross salary of EUR 70,000,-- (full‑time). We will align on your final compensation during the hiring process, based on your experience and qualifications
