Director of Global Customs & Foreign Trade Management Location: Getzersdorf, Austria or Venlo, Netherlands | Hybrid
Salary Range: 115,000 – 125,000 EUR/y/gr/base, depending on experience and qualifications.

You will lead, connect, and guide teams worldwide—setting global standards, partnering with external stakeholders, and enabling our business to operate seamlessly and compliantly across borders.
Key Responsibilities
Define and govern global standards for HS‑code and origin management across business units
Act as the global point of contact for customs and foreign trade compliance topics
Facilitate and support regional and cross‑regional customs audits
Maintain and continuously improve regional SOPs and SLAs
Drive global improvement initiatives together with Group Customs & Trade (e.g. licenses, simplifications)
Monitor and assess global regulatory developments (e.g. WCO, WTO, ICC) and translate them into business guidance

Requirements
University Degree in a relevant field
Extensive experience in customs and foreign trade management (significant senior-level expertise)
Strong knowledge of global customs regulations and compliance requirements
Experience in leading teams, projects, or cross-functional initiatives
Familiarity with customs and trade management systems and tools
Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and international environment
Strategic mindset with the ability to simplify complexity and provide clear direction
