As the System Service Manager you are responsible for driving excellence and stability in our operational ecosystem. You are the skilled leader to centralise vendor, consultant, contract, and budget management responsibilities. By streamlining processes and building sustainable relationships, you play a pivotal role in enhancing quality and ensuring long‑term success.
Responsibilities
Vendor Management: Develop the partner landscape to meet and exceed current and future requirements, while building a trusting and well‑coordinated ecosystem of internal and external resources that can fulfil both current and emerging demands.
Contract Management: Review and refine existing contracts, lead negotiations, and implement contractual improvements. Work closely with internal experts and legal colleagues to establish a long‑term foundation for sustainable vendor relationships.
Consultant Management: Prepare a demand‑driven consultant portfolio. Conduct performance reviews, track qualifications and skills, and provide recommendations to stakeholders. Onboard new consultants to enhance available skillsets and ensure they can be effective from day one by offering onboarding sessions, templates, and procedures at scale.
Operations Management: Standardise and operationalise tracking across the service portfolio ensuring that service level agreements are maintained and aligned with support levels and stakeholder requirements. Ensure that the various support entities collaborate effectively and that all partners are utilised according to their strengths. Independently drive operational improvements and work closely with service owners to achieve significant enhancements in operations.
Budget Management: Manage all budgets related to the services within the team. Include cost control, invoice processing, and budget planning in accordance with company standards. Optimise expenditures and ensure the budget is utilised in a sustainable and profitable manner.
Reporting: Use a diverse monitoring and reporting portfolio and compile a toolset that provides data to make informed decisions and clear recommendations.
Qualifications
IT‑related degree, or a degree in economics or law with a strong affinity for IT.
At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position.
Fluent English skills; German is a plus.
Extensive experience in budgeting and cost management.
Demonstrated experience in contract management and negotiation skills.
Strong commitment to standardising and streamlining approaches and processes.
Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to build sustainable relationships.
High level of self‑responsibility and reliability paired with a structured, analytical and diligent work style and a strong learning agility.
Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,471 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market‑oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
