Manufacturing Concept & Industrialization
Define and implement manufacturing concepts for LVSA – assembly strategy (station-based / line / modular), material flow and logistics concepts, production layout and footprint.
* Lead industrialization of new products (e.g., data center solutions) and new factories / production halls.
* Drive Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) progression.
* Evaluate and introduce new technologies and equipment.
* Support implementation of Eplan, digital work instructions, MES system and data‑driven manufacturing.
* Improve data integration across engineering → production → testing.
* Build CapEx business cases (ROI, productivity impact).
* Support supplier selection and equipment commissioning.
* Ensure successful ramp‑up of new equipment.
Process Innovation & Standardization
* Develop standardized production concepts across plants.
* Enable modular and repeatable manufacturing solutions.
* Support value stream optimization initiatives.
* Work closely with Engineering (EE/ME) – Design for Manufacturing (DFM/DFA), Process Engineering – process implementation, Production – validation and ramp‑up, Supply Chain – material flow and constraints.
* Ensure alignment between product design and manufacturing capability.
