Job Description Summary IT Business Analyst (d/f/m) | Kundl, Austria Job Description In this position, you will be part of the IT Team in Kundl, playing a key role in supporting current and future manufacturing sites within Sandoz Technical Operations. You will act as a strategic partner between business and IT, supporting end‑to‑end processes across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality, and enabling data‑driven, efficient, and compliant IT solutions. Your Key Responsibilities: Your responsibilities include, but not limited to: Act as a bridge between local business stakeholders and the global IT organization, translating business requirements into value‑adding IT solutions Ensure relevant stakeholders are actively involved in the specification of new solutions and major upgrades to existing services or products Lead or participate in implementation, improvement, and rollout projects, ensuring: clear definition of local requirements adequate testing local user acceptance and smooth transition to operations Interface with external vendors, ensuring coordinated execution of both operational and project activities Ensure consistency and traceability between user requirements, functional specifications, testing, and validation Support validation and testing activities as needed and ensure compliance with security, quality, and regulatory (GxP/CSV) requirements Coordinate and monitor technical incidents, issues, and escalations, supporting the Director IT Manufacturing Sites as required Apply and ensure adherence to IT processes, security standards, and policies across all activities Create and maintain site‑specific SOPs and Work Procedures related to the local application landscape Prepare for, participate in, and remediate audits when required Support the definition of IT strategy and roadmap for the manufacturing sites together with the Director IT Manufacturing Sites Leverage existing internal IT services, products, and reusable solutions wherever possible Ensure stable IT operations, working closely with the Service Desk and Next Level Support for incident and problem resolution Proactively share knowledge on technology risks and opportunities to drive continuous improvement and competitive advantage When required, provide application management and application support services in the IT/OT environment What you’ll bring to the role: Essential Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or a comparable education / relevant professional experience Professional Experience 2 years of experience in an IT/OT environment, preferably within the chemical or pharmaceutical industry Experience with Computer System Validation (CSV) and working in GxP‑regulated environments Strong IT professional background with technical and process knowledge Advanced skills in IT business analysis, requirements definition and management, and effective stakeholder communication Solid understanding of process architectures and industry‑standard service lifecycle management practices Basic understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, and laboratory processes and related IT systems (e.g. MES, QMS, automation systems) Knowledge of application management and support in IT/OT environments and a basic understanding of IT/OT infrastructure Languages German: fluent (spoken and written) English: fluent (spoken and written) You´ll receive: Attractive salary with incentive program Modern company pension scheme Flexible working hours / home-office depending on the position 14 weeks of paid parental leave Additional days off (bridge-days) Subsidized meals in our canteen Sustainable mobility in form of company transportation and shift buses Company Kindergarden and summer camps for children Wellbeing & mental health offers Learning and development options for your personal and professional growth Worldwide career opportunities In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is EUR 65.605,54/year (on a full-time basis). In most cases, however, the actual salary will be higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies.
