RFQ is seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our owned and leased facilities across Queensland. Based in Annerley, this pivotal role ensures our environments are safe, compliant, and aligned with the strategic direction of the organisation.
* Establish, relocate, and close facilities as needed, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
* Lead aspects of Work Health and Safety (WHS) related to facilities, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
* Act as the onsite representative for the Annerley Central Body Corporate, coordinating facilities and body corporate matters.
* Provide strategic input into the planning and budgeting of future facility needs.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external contractors for maintenance, refurbishments, office moves, and new site setups.
* Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies and urgent issues, managing consequences and seeking advice when necessary.
* Investigate and assess new premises and optimise space and resource use in existing locations.
You Will Need:
* Proven experience in facilities management across multiple sites, with a strong understanding of WHS legislation and facility compliance.
* Proven experience with Microsoft Office products, and ability to manage administrative tasks accurately.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to prioritise and execute tasks.
* Experience managing contractors, budgets, and service agreements.
