The Role
Reporting directly to the Founder, you will own the day-to-day operations of Credit Connection — overseeing our broking and lending teams, driving compliance, protecting our clients' most critical deadlines, and building systems that scale. You'll work closely with our Head of Sales and play a central role in the continued growth.
What You'll Be Responsible For
* Overseeing all day-to-day operations of Credit Connection — keeping the business tight, fast, and client-focused.
* Building and maintaining end-to-end workflows and systems to track every application from initial assessment through to settlement and beyond.
* Ensuring full compliance with all industry regulations and NCCP requirements, and holding all Mortgage Brokers accountable to these standards.
* Maintaining the integrity of the CRM — ensuring all staff record and update client information accurately and consistently.
* Driving exceptional client experiences, including post-settlement follow-up, proactive client maintenance, and regular meaningful communication.
* Recruiting, onboarding, managing, and developing Mortgage Brokers, Credit Analysts, and Loan Processors in partnership with the Head of Sales.
* Owning all time-critical finance deadlines — unconditional dates, deposit payments, settlement dates — and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
What We're Looking For
We need someone who has lived inside the mortgage broking industry — someone who understands the rhythm of a loan file, the pressure of a settlement deadline, and the discipline it takes to manage people, process, and compliance simultaneously.
* Proven experience in mortgage broking operations — either as a broker, broker support, or in an operational leadership role within the industry.
* A track record of managing teams: setting expectations, holding people accountable, and developing capability.
* Obsessive attention to detail — you notice what others miss and you never let small things become big problems.
* Uncompromising discipline — you treat every deadline as urgent, because in this business, it is.
* Strong process orientation — you're not satisfied until there's a system that works, and then you improve it.
* Clear, confident communicator — with staff, clients, lenders, and leadership.
* Hands-on CRM experience and a willingness to enforce its consistent use across the team.
* A genuine commitment to compliance — you understand the regulatory environment and you take it seriously.
