Senior Project Manager for Waste Heat Recovery Systems (f/m/*)
WHAT ARE MY RESPONSIBILITIES?
Our I&S PM (Iron & Steelmaking Project Management) department is responsible for project execution in Environmental Solutions. We provide top project management expertise, overseeing projects from contract award to closure, aiming to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
The Environmental Solutions portfolio includes technologies and services to minimize emissions from iron and steel production, increase plant energy efficiency (e.g., Waste Heat Recovery Systems), and optimize by-product recycling. As sustainable environmental solutions become increasingly vital, we are strengthening our team with a Senior Project Manager for large and complex Waste Heat Recovery projects.
The key responsibilities include:
1. Taking full responsibility for the successful implementation of your projects.
2. Managing projects within set financial, quality, and schedule targets.
3. Identifying additional opportunities during ongoing projects and negotiating change requests with stakeholders.
4. Managing project risks using available risk assessment tools.
5. Monitoring project status, early identification of discrepancies, and initiating mitigation measures.
6. Working with your team, setting targets, and delegating responsibilities.
7. Ensuring compliance with regulations, rules, and standards.
8. Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
9. Driving project closure and ensuring all information is documented for future reference.
WHAT DO I NEED TO QUALIFY FOR THIS JOB?
* 5+ years of management experience in complex construction and plant projects.
* Advanced knowledge of waste heat recovery systems and related engineering and technology.
* Strong understanding of project management methods, contract law, and regulations.
* Experience working in international teams.
* Willingness to travel and visit sites.
* Proficiency in English and German.

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?
The minimum annual gross salary for this position, based on the collective agreement and meeting all requirements, is EUR 61,022.78. This can increase depending on qualifications and experience.
