Job Description
We're looking for a
hands-on Performance Marketing specialist who enjoys building, optimizing, and scaling campaigns—and is ready to take the next step into light people leadership. You'll guide a small team of three while staying close to the accounts and the numbers.
(If you're mainly looking for a leadership-only role, this position will likely feel too operational.)
What you will do:
* Lead, coach, and develop a team of three Performance Marketing Managers, providing clear direction, mentoring, and growth paths.
* Advise our clients on all aspects of performance marketing, from strategy to execution and continuous optimization.
* Build an internal database from our agency business managers for paid media campaigns and continuously generate sector- and client-specific insights that power consulting and strategic recommendations.
* Upskill the team across SEM, tracking, analytics, dashboarding, and data science, including processes, tooling, and best practices.
* Ensure high-quality standards in campaign planning, execution, measurement, and reporting across SEA, SEO, Social, and cross-channel initiatives.
* Foster close collaboration with adjacent teams (e.g., Brand Consultants, Digital Creators, or Development) to deliver integrated, data-informed marketing solutions.
Requirements
What we expect:
* 5+ years of experience in Performance Marketing Management or Performance Marketing Consulting, ideally in an agency or multi-client environment.
* Proven project experience across SEA, SEO, Social Media, Tracking, Analytics, Dashboard creation, Reporting, Data Science, and Tag Management.
* Strong client advisory skills, including stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and translating data into business impact.
* Familiarity with current market developments such as leveraging LLMs for process optimization, with an eye on the convergence of LLM capabilities and paid advertising.
* AI know-how for data analysis and automated campaign delivery would be a plus
* Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
* Fluency in German and English.
* Willingness to travel for client meetings, workshops or internal events.
* At least one day per week on-site in the Vienna office. The day can be aligned individually with your team.
