About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Product Safety & Compliance Specialist to join our Consumer Flexibles team, which contributes to delivering high-performance packaging solutions for consumer end-uses. This role is central to ensuring regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction across our global operations in this business segment.
Your mission:
1. Act as the central contact for production sites, key account managers, and R&D regarding regulatory and customer-specific requirements.
2. Monitor and interpret national and international regulatory developments relevant to food contact materials.
3. Develop and maintain internal guidelines to ensure compliance with legal and customer standards.
4. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure raw material compliance and manage documentation.
5. Evaluate regulatory documents and maintain the compliance database.
6. Organize and deliver internal workshops and training sessions on product safety and compliance topics.
Your profile:
1. Minimum 1 year of experience in regulatory affairs related to food contact materials.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Technology, or a related technical field.
3. Strong analytical skills and structured working style.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
5. Proficiency in MS Office tools.
6. Language Skills: Fluent in English; basic knowledge of German required (A2 level or higher).
