Your Impact: Responsibility & Strategic Scope
In this key role, you will bridge the gap between technology, finance, and public policy.
You will be instrumental in shaping our global innovation landscape through the following high-impact responsibilities:
* Global Funding Strategy: You own the global strategy for acquiring external R&D financing and lead international funded projects from initial acquisition through to administration.
* Interface Management: You serve as the central point of contact for national and international funding agencies (e.g., SFG, FFG, AWS, EU, etc.).
* Strategic Positioning: You represent Nidec GA’s interests in industrial and technical committees, ensuring that new standards (e.g., Energy, Electronics, Materials) are harmonized with our technology roadmap.
* Stakeholder Communication: Proactively present our innovation projects to government bodies and regulatory authorities worldwide.
* Intellectual Property & Benchmarking: You lead the global IP governance (patent strategy) and centralize technical benchmarking across all business segments.
* Budget Controlling: You oversee the innovation budget and conduct rigorous cost-benefit analyses to ensure sustainable growth.
Your Qualifications:
* Education: An advanced degree (FH/TU) in Innovation Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical/business field.
* Professional Experience: Proven track record in a comparable role at the intersection of finance and technology/innovation.
* Expertise: Experience working with official funding agencies is highly desirable.
* Mindset: A structured, results-oriented work style combined with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Languages: Fluency in both German and English is required.
* Mobility: Willingness to travel (approx. 10%).
