Your mission at ecop:
As a PLC Developer at ecop, you bring control systems to life:
You program, optimize, and test Siemens-based automation systems that power our rotary pumps worldwide. With your technical expertise and understanding of process control, you turn code into motion – and ideas into working solutions.
Your tasks:
* Programming Siemens S7 controllers (Step 7, TIA Portal, WinCC)
* Performing simulations and tests (e.g. parameter change behavior, PI controller tuning)
* Debugging, bug fixing, and ongoing optimization of existing programs
* Commissioning systems both in-house and at customer sites
* Technical documentation within the code and preparation of supporting materials
* Integration into existing control systems via PROFINET, Modbus, OPC/UA, or IO-Link
* Troubleshooting, analysis, and technical consulting for customers
* Customer consulting and support in technical implementation
What you should bring:
* Completed technical education (at least HTL, University of Applied Sciences, or Technical University)
* At least 5 years of professional experience in PLC programming with Siemens systems
* Proficiency in ST/SCL (additional PLC programming languages are an advantage)
* Understanding of electrical schematics (E-Plan)
* Solid knowledge of communication bus systems (PROFINET, Modbus, OPC/UA, IO-Link)
* Experience with PI controller tuning is an advantage
* Analytical, systems-oriented thinking and strong problem-solving skills
* Team spirit, strong communication skills, and self-initiative
* Willingness to travel
* Language skills: German and English at least at B2 level

For this position, we offer you a monthly gross salary between € 3.000 and € 4.000, depending on qualifications and professional experience. The collective agreement minimum salary is € 2.806,20 gross/month.
